Thermal Conduction Materials – Silicone Thermal pads

Silicone-based thermal transfer material, capable of filling the spaces and gaps between heat generating elements and the heat sink or other cooling methods.

Materials with great adaptability, we can reformulate the silicone to increase / reduce its hardness, vary its natural adhesion, insert glass fabric reinforcements or adjust the thickness for a perfect adaptation to the final application.

Thermal pads with own adhesion, which provide easy assembling and removing during installing process.

General working temperature range from -50°C to 200°C.

Main applications:

Silicone Thermal pads

Depending on the application, thickness, supply format and other technical-commercial parameters, we have 3 different ranges of silicone thermal pads:

SKZ series

From 1’5W/mk to 6’2W/mk
Thickness from 0’25mm to 8mm.
With or without internal glass cloth reinforcement.
Available in sheets or die-cut pieces

SKBT series

From 1W/mk to 7W/mk
Thickness from 0’200mm to 9mm.
With or without internal glass cloth reinforcement.
Available in sheets of dimensions as per customer request

SKTIF series

Dureza personalizable (Shore 00)
Desde 1’5W/mk hasta los 6’2W/mk
Espesores desde 0’25mm hasta los 5mm.
With or without internal glass cloth reinforcement.
Available in sheets or die-cut pieces

Thermal pad phase change

SKZ series and SKTIC 800 series

Thermal pad based on silicone rubber material, specially designed for electronic applications to join the heat sink. These types of silicones changes from solid to viscous at a low temperature (50°C), which allows total contact despite surface irregularities between the heat sink and the electronic chip.

With a great power of heat dissipation and electrical insulation, they are a highly recommended option for automotive electronics.

Thickness range from 0’076mm to 0’254mm.

Option to apply adhesive or internal reinforcement of polyimide film (kapton).

Thermal conductivity from 0’95W/mk to 1’5W/mk
