DMD
Flexible electrical insulating laminate can be satured (DMD S) or non saturared (DMD I) by resin used for the insulation of electric motors and transformer in thermal class B (130 °C) and F (155° C). BOTH VERSIONS ARE UL CERTIFIED
DMD is made laminating a PET film into two layers of PET non-woven highly calendered, bonded with a solvent-less glue at controlled reticulation, according to standard ASTM D1830.
Flexible insulating laminates DMD I are produced by laminating three layers of polyester film which gives the product mechanical and dielectric strenght with two layers of non-woven polyester which provide thermal resistance.
Flexible insulating laminates DMD S are produced by laminating three layers of polyester film which gives the product mechanical and dielectric strenght with two layers of non-woven polyester impregnated with epoxy resin, which give thermal strength.
